Yesterday Huawei made an important announcement through its official Twitter account. Two new models in its portfolio receive Android Pie with EMUI 9 while another two update to EMUI 9.1 . This news comes the same week that the Huawei P30 Pro are beginning to receive a new update with new features in the camera, facial unlocking, the screen, as well as the latest Google security patches.

Meeting the Android 9 update schedule, the Huawei Mate 20 Lite and Huawei P Smart + are beginning to receive Android 9 + EMUI 9 . The famous Android pie launched in 2018 leaves these models with the latest version of the operating system, at least until Android Q hits the market.
For their part, the Huawei P20 Lite and Huawei P Smart models go up a notch and also receive a long-awaited update, in this case to EMUI 9.1.
All these updates arrive via notification. If you do not receive it in a few days, you can manually search for them in Settings – System – Update software.

Huawei continues to show that it does not stop working on smartphones already in stock and these developments are joined by two other very important ones.
