Project Condor, Control spinoff, will be a cooperative for four and its development will cost 25 million euros

Remedy Entertainment and 505 Games surprised us all by announcing Project Condor yesterday . It is a new multiplayer game that was born as a spinoff of Control , the latest adventure from Alan Wake’s studio, with which they seek to turn their narrative universe into a franchise itself . And now, we know some more details about the proposal thanks to 505 Games itself.
In a statement , the Italian publisher confirms some interesting facts about Project Condor, starting with its financing. As confirmed, the initial development budget is 25 million euros , which will be financed in equal parts by 505 Games and Remedy. In the same way, all future revenue from the game will be split 50/50 between the two companies.
Beyond the purely financial, and after knowing yesterday that Condor will be a multiplayer game, the publisher now specifies that it will be a 4-player cooperative multiplayer title , focused on PvE (player against environment). At the moment there are no more details about its gameplay and design, although, as expected, the game will use Remedy’s Northlight engine . And it is also confirmed that Condor will only be released on PlayStation 5 , Xbox Series and PC.
With more than 2 million copies of Control sold, and revenues in excess of 70 million, Remedy and 505 are preparing to make this adventure their successful franchise.
