KINETIC SAND OR MODELING SAND?
Children have always loved playing in the sand, on the beach by the sea and, thanks to some products, now even at home! KINETIC SAND OR MODELING SAND?
But which sand to choose? The offer is wide and many parents have asked us what differences there are between Kinetic Sand and Modeling Sand : let’s see them together!
Both tested and certified, both gluten or other allergens free, both are available in different colors and do not dry out, guaranteeing endless hours of play and fun.
Kinetic Sand is made up of 98% natural sand and the secret of its magical movement lies in the patented technology of its binders. As soon as it is moved, it seems to come to life and move independently: the grains bind together, giving an incredible sensory experience and lots of fun!
This tactile aspect guarantees real sensory well-being to the child who plunges his hands into the Kinetic Sand; it is in fact also suitable for children with learning and relationship difficulties, or with autism, due to its calming and relaxing power.
Kinetic Sand, in addition to being manipulated, can also be compacted and molded into small shapes or structures.
The Shapeable Sand (Shape-it) , on the other hand, allows the creation of grandiose constructions: the small and large hands that will compact it, will be able to create real sand castles, sculptures and even volcanoes!
The Mouldable Sand looks more like the real sand of the beach, it appears drier than the Kinetic one and allows games more similar to those so loved by children at the sea.
The main difference with Kinetic Sand lies in the fact that Mouldable Sand can be baked in the oven (45 min at 120 ° C). In fact, if in the open air it never dries up, once compacted well and put to cook, it becomes hard and can be hollowed out, sculpted and even painted! Even the smallest artists and sculptors will thus be able to make their works eternal!
