AN EASY EASY CHRISTMAS TREE Drawing

Christmas is approaching and the desire to decorate the house is making itself felt?, You know it is a frenzy that affects young and old. AN EASY EASY CHRISTMAS TREE Drawing

My little girl, Viola, has been asking for a while to prepare the Christmas tree, frankly it seems a bit early for the real one?, But her enthusiasm and my desire to experiment have given way to the realization of a little bulky tree, very decorative and which selfishly speaking?, kept my four-year-old busy for most of the first, real autumn Sunday, which without this diversion would have been long to pass?.

    Materials needed:

    • Three different sized star shaped dies.
    • Cardboard of various colors / patterns.
    • Scissors.
    • Pencil.
    • Double sided tape.
    • A free wall or door.

We started by punching the cards, obtaining many stars of different sizes and colors, after which we attached small pieces of double-sided tape behind the stars.

Having drawn and cut out a large comet, taking advantage of the free hand drawing skills of father Luca?, At this point the real phase of making the tree began.

Placed the comet at the top center, with the help of two pieces of transparent adhesive tape we outlined the shape we wanted to give to our tree, at which point placed inside all the stars previously prepared by arranging them randomly.

Did the tree come out really cute?, We had different types of cards but Viola preferred to use only the glittery ones that she calls “sbrilucicanti” and I must say that she chose really well?, The very precise dies in the cuts, allowed us to create the stars quickly.

The phase that stole the most time was that of cutting, applying the double-sided tape and preparing to glue the stars.

The assembly instead with the help of the transparent tape was fast and precise and gave Viola the opportunity to work independently to attach the stars, a stool and the longer arms of father helped to get to the top?.

Not satisfied with this effort?, Viola wanted to do some more work, so recovered some old glasses we decorated them with hot glue, stars in lenci cloth and ribbons, so we made candle holders.

As the first pre-Christmas Sunday it was not bad at all. I’m just worried because at this rate we will arrive at Christmas with the carnival decorations already ready?.
