Three of the most anticipated terminals of the year 2019 have finally been officially presented, we are talking of course about the new iPhone 11 , iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, which were recently unveiled in Cupertino, California. As you would expect from the American apple, these are flagships with cutting-edge technology and dreamy features. So, without further ado, let’s get to know them in detail.

The iPhone 11 is the entry-level model in its series, but that doesn’t mean it has anything to envy other 2019 flagships. Going into detail, it features an elegant design with glass on the back and is sculpted from a single piece of metal. Its resistance cannot be doubted, since the IP68 certification (present in the 3 models) guarantees protection against the elements, including water, being able to withstand depths of up to 2 meters for 30 minutes.
On the front is an imposing 6.1-inch Retina LCD screen with TrueTone technology , it exhibits a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio that results in a resolution of 1792 x 828 pixels . Needless to say, the edges are very thin, with the exception of the top one, where there is obviously a notch to house the front camera and other sensors.
Apple guarantees a highly realistic and natural viewing experience with its TrueTone technology . In addition, it is complemented by Haptic Touch in iOS 13, which allows you to use shortcuts for apps and tasks from the home screen.
Hardware
Under its elegant appearance lies a hardware to match, where the main protagonist is the Apple A13 Bionic chip of 7 nanometers with dedicated NPU , which gives the machine learning terminal and unprecedented performance. Going into detail, it consists of a six-core CPU running at 2.66Ghz, which Apple claims is the “fastest chip a smartphone has ever had.”
Apple does not usually reveal the amount of RAM in its terminals directly, but what we do know is that it will come with variants of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB of internal storage .
The exact amount of the iPhone’s battery has not been revealed either, but Apple promises a battery life superior to the iPhone XR by at least an hour, so we can expect something in the region of 3,000mAh. This battery supports 18-watt fast-charging technology, which allows it to recover 50% of its capacity in just 30 minutes (the fast charger is sold separately).
Cameras
The cameras themselves deserve a dedicated note to them, so we’ll be brief this time. Apple has opted for a dual configuration located on a square plate that protrudes from the surface , which has already become the subject of criticism and memes. Going into details, it has a 12MP main sensor with f / 1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization, this is complemented by a 12MP sensor with f / 2.4 aperture and 120-degree ultra-wide field of view.
It is possible to toggle between 2X optical zoom and 5X digital zoom , as well as recording in 4K at 60FPS with extended dynamic range (HDR). In the software department it incorporates improved night and portrait modes. As if the above mentioned were not enough, artificial intelligence is used to obtain more natural images with defined details, as well as to process photos pixel by pixel and optimize textures.
Finally, the front camera is 12MP , but some surprises under the sleeve, for example, videoselfies slow motion (120FPS), video shooting 4K to 60fps, Face ID improved (30% faster) and mode scenery.
iPhone 11 Pro
Both the Pro and Max versions retain the characteristic design and Bionic A13 chip of the standard version, but with a few major differences in the screen and camera department. First of all, the iPhone 11 Pro is the smallest of the bunch, with a 5.8-inch OLED XDR Super Retina display and a resolution of 2436 x 1125 pixels.
In terms of hardware, nothing changes much, but this time the memory options amount to 512GB . Also, Apple promises that the iPhone 11 Pro will have four more hours of battery life than the iPhone XS. This version also has 18-watt fast charging, but this time the corresponding charger is supplied.
In the iPhone 11 Pro and in its older brother, the story changes in the photographic field, this time we talk about a triple camera configuration of 12MP + 12MP + 12MP , with apertures f / 2.4, f / 1.8 and f / 2.0. The first sensor is a 120 ° wide angle camera and the third a telephoto lens, both are equipped with optical image stabilization, two-magnification optical zoom and ten-magnification digital zoom.
Apple has gone one step further and implemented a feature that allows users to switch between telephoto and ultra-wide lens for portrait and panorama photos. In this same vein of innovation, he has created Deep Fusion , a feature that will come later, which will allow you to take photos using each of the cameras and then merge them into a single high-quality one. Likewise, with Filmi Pro you can shoot video using each camera – including the front one – and then edit the footage from different angles.
iPhone 11 Pro Max
The iPhone 11 Pro Max is differentiated by the presence of a larger screen, going to 6.5 inches and a resolution of 2688 x 1242 pixels . However, all other features remain unchanged, and the same can be said for the device’s design, camera, and software.
In the hardware section, the only appreciable difference is the battery life, which should give 5 hours more of use than the iPhone XS, which implies that it will have a capacity in the region of 3,500mAh (to be confirmed).
Availability and price of the iPhone 11 series
The iPhone 11 will be available in 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB models from 809 euros . On the other hand, the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available in capacities of 64 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB starting at 1,159 euros and 1,259 euros , respectively.
