From a global perspective , we cannot say that Spain is a very good student of foreign languages. In fact, we are still at the bottom of Europe in the domain of English, according to the EF EPI international ranking, which shows that learning a language in a didactic way, progressing without a stay abroad or being able to be bilingual is not something innate.
Today there are many English teachers, who provide us with an   important foundation when we decide to learn a foreign language, but surely with that alone you cannot master  all the specificities of English:  those words, phrases and other idiomatic expressions that allow us to fully immerse ourselves in the English-speaking world and level up considerably.

With some English classes, it is possible to remember everything we learned in school and avoid the little mistakes that we make regularly.
It is a fact that many foreign languages, such as English, are learned through the simple teaching of an English teacher, who will introduce us to the basics of grammar, vocabulary or the rules that must be applied daily. However, there are certain mistakes that follow us everywhere, all the time, and that must be avoided , because you run the risk of being a very bad English speaker!
There are many reasons why we can make mistakes in English, which we can more or less control. Thus, it is always interesting to know the most common mistakes in English to avoid, especially when it comes to classic mistakes, of the basic concepts. Learning English should be viewed as  truly total immersion  in the beautiful world of foreign languages ​​and cultures, speaking, and the language of Shakespeare .

Among the most common mistakes not to make in English, we find:

Irregular verbs , known for their unpredictability, must be learned by heart if you do not want to make mistakes in many situations in everyday life. This is demonstrated by the famous be / was / were / been , which shows that the language is full of specific cases and contrasts, to be learned as we level up.
Homonyms in English are a very common mistake , although they are hardly objectionable, especially in oral expression. When writing, it is convenient to know how to spell the words correctly, since the meaning of the sentence can change completely. Among them we find: your (you) and you’re (you are); its (your) and it’s (es); they’re (they are), their (their) and there ; to (for), two (two) and too (too), and many more!
We also forget quite often to use the -s in the third person present singular . It is a beginner’s mistake, but even the most bilingual can make it, if only because of  a mistake.
Among these frequent mistakes in English, we also find unusual words, which will allow us, if we know them, to master English like a native speaker and have interesting conversations.
