The mobile screen is going to be the main protagonist of this 2020. Apart from the folding ones that are really going to break into the market, some manufacturers have other aces up their sleeves. For example,  OnePlus has just unveiled its 120 Hz display , a refresh rate that will guarantee the fluidity of the main panel and which will be seen on the OnePlus 8 .

It was during CES 2020 in Las Vegas when Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, confirmed that his next premium-range smartphone will have a 120 Hz screen. Nomenclatures aside, the successor to the existing models would be the OnePlus 8 (or as you say want to baptize) which could have its greatest bet on the screen, in addition to the photographic section.

OnePlus has not revealed details about this next winning horse, but about the screens it is working on. These panels are called  Fluid Display and have a refresh rate of  120 Hz . The panel,  built by Samsung , will offer its users OLED technology  and a  QHD + resolution . In addition, the pixel density will be  500 dpi and as a curiosity it will have a  240 Hz touch refresh . That is, not only will the image displayed on the screen refresh faster, but we will also gain precision when controlling our smartphone. For its part, the brightness will reach  1,000 nits .

When will we see these new OnePlus screens?
