Dying Light 2 has a new gameplay trailer: this is the tension when walking among zombies or fleeing from them

The open world video game will arrive on PC and consoles next December.

As promised , Techland this week shared the second episode of “Dying 2 Know” in the development diary of Dying Light 2 Stay Human . On this occasion, the Polish team spent a few minutes talking about monsters. Or “infected” if you prefer. Among the comments of the different creatives who work on them, a new gameplay trailer has also appeared .

In the full video , Techland talks about the logic and background behind the transition from human to zombie, and explains the many difficulties these creatures have in dealing with UV rays and their own bodies. The banshee, for example, is a nimble enemy archetype with fingers so long that they sometimes bump into them; while others still retain a small part of consciousness and are forced to suffer in silence.

It is not a bad idea to take a look at the almost half an hour of comments that make up the broadcast, but if you came for the gameplay trailer, you will be able to see in it that impact of the UV light we were talking about and what it will be like to try to go unnoticed between the enemies. Especially at night, where you will have to go very slowly so as not to alert anyone. You can expect things to get ugly often, anyway.

Dying Light 2 will be available on December 7 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles of the eighth and ninth generation. It will take advantage of the skills of the first game with an expanded parkour system and refined combat, as well as having great ambitions for a very vertical open world where the player’s decisions shape the environment like any other agent.
