EASTER, HOME DECOR TO DO TOGETHER
Waiting for Easter by preparing the decorations together is a pleasant and fun activity to do together with your children. To fill the house with color and celebration.
Easter decorations, between tradition and novelty
If you are thinking of painted boiled eggs, you are on your way! The whole family in the house, a basket of hard-boiled eggs, paints and brushes. Without forgetting aprons or old t-shirts for everyone and a nice wax on the work table, just to limit the damage, you never know.
Hand decorated eggs are a colorful and fun Easter tradition. A pastime that goes beyond the production of imaginative eggs. Because when the eggs are ready, you can organize a treasure hunt for the family puppies, hiding them everywhere and inviting the children to find them.
Besides, have you ever heard of the Easter tree? It is an ancient custom of the countries of Northern Europe, in particular in Germany, dating back to the Middle Ages.
The pagan custom was to decorate dry branches with decorated eggs and flowers, to celebrate the moment of rebirth linked to the arrival of spring. The custom then overlapped the Christian Easter celebrations.
Today the Easter tree can be made by putting dry branches in a vase and decorating them with decorations, preferably DIY produced with children, with a spring and Easter theme.
