Samsung is pleased to announce the launch of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite , two smart tablets that offer the brand’s fan-favorite features at an affordable price. As they explain from the company, the demand for tablets is growing and not the opposite, this as a result of the growing need to work or study remotely, two things that this pair does very well. With that said, it’s time to get to know them briefly.
So let’s start with the main course, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE , which is a new low-cost member of the Tab S7 series . It combines an impressive 12.5-inch TFT screen with a long-lasting 5G standard battery to keep you connected.

Going into detail, its screen ditches the AMOLED technology in this version, but retains the WQGA resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels . We can say goodbye to the 120Hz refresh rate too, but at least it supports the S-Pen for drawing or note-taking.
Also, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE packs two stereo speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos audio and signed by AKG; so as in its brothers, quality sound awaits us.
Inside it has a Snapdragon 750 chip , which provides next- generation 5G network connectivity . It is accompanied by 4GB along with 64GB of internal storage, but we can also opt for a variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. Regardless of the latter, it will always be possible to add a 1TB Micro-SD for more space.
The battery that powers the Galaxy Tab S7 FE has a commendable capacity of 10,090mAh , of which we can expect up to 13 hours of duration and a fast charge that only requires 90 minutes.
The operating system could not be other than Android with One UI , and like its brothers, it comes with many functions aimed at productivity, including Samsung Dex , which in the company of a Book Cover Keyboard allows you to use the Tablet as a laptop. We also have Multi-Active Window for multitasking and tools like Clip Studio to unleash our creativity with the S Pen.
In another vein, yay two cameras. The main one is 8MP , while the one for selfies stays at 5MP.
Finally, the connectivity options range from 5G to Wi- Fi 6 , through Bluetooth 5.0 and without forgetting GPS + GLONASS.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is an even more affordable option, which is mainly intended for the enjoyment of multimedia content and not so much for productivity, although it does have a few tricks up its sleeve.
With that said, this tablet is characterized by its 8.7-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 1,340 x 800 pixels. Inside it has an unspecified eight-core chip (4 cores at 1.8Ghz and 4 at 2.3Ghz), which is backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable via Micro-SD up to 1TB).
A 5,100mAh battery with a 15-watt charge gives it quite a respectable autonomy for its affordable price. It consists of an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.
As expected, it lacks 5G connectivity, although it is possible to get a model that has 4G in addition to WiFi.
Availability and price
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE will be available from June 18 for a starting price of 649 euros . The 6GB + 128GB model is worth 699 euros and both are 5G compatible. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 is on sale from the moment of publication of this article for a price of 169 euros.
