After a long wait and months of leaks, Google has finally revealed the Google Pixel 4 and its big brother, the Pixel 4 XL. For the first time in the history of the Pixel range, Google dares to introduce a dual camera, and according to early critics, it has been a success in this regard. The differences between the two terminals are limited to the size of the body and the screen, thus sharing the same minimalist design philosophy that characterizes Google. The Google Pixel 4 is very well equipped at the hardware level, making use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor (unfortunately not the Plus version), which is combined with 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage (not expandable). Additionally, it has a coprocessor designed for tasks involving artificial intelligence. The latter is called the Pixel Neural Core and promises to improve photographic results significantly.

Google has always excelled in photography and this time things look even better. As mentioned above, the camera consists of two sensors housed in a photographic module that protrudes noticeably from the rear.
Getting into the details, there’s a 12MP main camera (f / 1.7, 77-degree field of view), assisted by the new 16MP telephoto lens (f / 2.4, 52-degree field of view). This combination benefits from improved zoom (1.8X optical), higher visibility in low light, HDR + and photographic computer technology for white balancing in all photographic modes. In turn, it has optical image stabilization when filming video, which can be captured at 4K @ 30FPS.
Finally, it uses an 8MP front camera with f / 2.0 aperture and 3D time-of-flight sensor for highly accurate facial recognition.
