How is the preparation for the opposition of plastic arts?
To teach within the national public system, you must become a state official and, therefore, pass a competitive examination . This concept refers to the selection system used in Spain within the national educational system to be able to select which people will occupy the different teaching positions that are convened each year.
Once the place has been acquired in the Autonomous Community in which the candidate has applied, they will have the freedom to choose which destination they want, although if it is a very large community, this may have its advantages and disadvantages.
The competitive examination consists of a common exam for all the candidates of the same specialty (plastic arts) and the sum of the merits of each candidate. However, the test in turn consists of two phases:
- First phase:
- Development of a written topic. In this case, depending on the agenda, the evaluating panel will choose a series of topics from which the candidate will have to choose.
- Practical part: it can consist of a practical case or a practical exercise.
- Second stage:
- Only if you pass the complete phase, will you be able to proceed to the second part of the oppositions. In this case, this consists of the oral presentation of a didactic program and one of the didactic units that make up said program.
