To be a French teacher , you have to follow a certain school path.
You can do a degree in French Teaching, French Studies or Translation and Interpreting with French as your first or second foreign language.
You can then do a Master’s Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching , which replaces the old CAP.
To be a full professor, you will have to take public exams or enroll in the lists of professors to be an interim.
You will have to be constant and methodological to be able to pass some competitive examinations.
You will have to work assiduously and constantly to study the syllabus and prepare a didactic unit that you will have to defend before a jury.
The competitive examinations will open the doors for you to teach in the official schools, institutes and schools of languages.
If you want to teach French to students in higher studies, you will have to choose a tutor to do a doctoral thesis at the university.
If you don’t feel like doing this type of study or preparing for an examination, but you want to teach French, no problem.
You can work in an academy or be a private teacher (online classes or private classes).

In this case, it is simpler:

You can register as a freelancer and advertise on online platforms.
You can propose your classes through a school support center.
You do not need any diploma in this case, although having experience guarantees the confidence of the students.
