With this job you can surprise your friends and create fantastic flying competitions: today we build a paper hang glider that flies for real using the blowpipe mechanism. In this video tutorial you can see the few and simple steps to create a hang glider complete with a stylized pilot ready to be launched in the air. It flies up to over 6 meters and can also be used at home because being made of paper it does not damage objects and is not dangerous for people (never aim at the face of course).

Materials needed

• Writing paper or photocopy paper of two different colors
• Thin patterned cardstock 130 gsm
• Polystyrene ball of 3.5 cm in diameter
• Chenille stick 20 cm long
• Transparent double-sided tape 0.5 cm thick
• One thin red, one brown and one black marker
• Round wooden stick or a wooden ladle
