The once best-selling Huawei terminal in Spain is renewed with its sights set on Europe and the mid-range market, presenting itself under the title of Huawei P Smart 2021 with a modern design and specifications. However, the Huawei P Smart 2021 lacks Google’s services and applications, a destination from which its predecessor was spared by being a relaunch of the 2019 model. With this in mind, it’s time to meet.
Huawei P Smart 2021: Modernized Design: Huawei P Smart 2021, a mid-range conqueror returns, but without Google apps
The Huawei P Smart 2021 may have said goodbye to Google services, but what it loses in software it recovers in style points, since it is a new model and not a rehash of last year. This time we are looking at a terminal with a 6.67- inch LCD screen that offers FullHD + resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) and an 8MP embedded front camera (f / 2.0 aperture).
As can be seen in the images, the back cover presents a rectangular photographic module with four sensors and lacks a fingerprint sensor, which has been moved to the right side to share space with the on / off button.
At the hardware level not much has changed compared to the last generation. The Kirin 710A chip makes an appearance again in the company of 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage , so it remains an affordable cutter device. On the other hand, the battery has received a slight improvement. Now it offers us a capacity of 5,000mAh with support for fast charging of 22.5 watts through the USB Type-C port.
As an operating system we have Android 10 with the manufacturer’s EMUI 10.1 layer , and as mentioned above, there are no apps or services of the big G because it is a terminal after the commercial veto.
In the photographic department the Huawei P Smart 2021 packs four cameras. The main one outlines a 48MP sensor (f / 1.8) , the secondary one is an 8MP wide-angle lens with a 120 ° field of view and the remaining two are 2MP (frame and depth camera, both with aperture f /2.4).
Availability and price
At the moment the Huawei P Smart 2021 has only been presented in select markets such as Austria, Croatia, Estonia and Slovenia, where it will be bought for 229 euros from October . It is expected to eventually reach other European countries for a similar price, but we are still awaiting confirmation.
