If you miss Vanquish, this indie game called Blackwind has its spirit: action and highlights
Although it uses an aerial perspective, this adventure promises direct combat and many explosions.
We present you Blackwind , a hack and slash-style sci-fi game with mecha developed by Blowfish Studios and Drakkar Dev that has announced its arrival on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch and PC throughout the fourth quarter of the year. Blackwind will arrive at the end of the year and will have cooperative modeThe plot places us on the planet Medusa-42 and we will have to get into the mecha suit to face an alien race known as Raknos . We will take the role of Kames Hawkins, an untrained teenager who sees how he has to get into a robotic suit to
finish off enemies, save the colony and find his father.
Through melee and ranged attacks we will have to kill everything that comes our way, turning the suit into a killing machine with all kinds of gadgets, such as energy knives or missiles. Although saving the distances, Vanquish is given an air for its style and unbridled action, but it is very different because of the use of the cameras and a more platforming touch.
We can play Blackwind both individually or cooperatively, where one player controls the character and another the battle drone to inflict damage. “Blackwind is a beautiful and violent gift to the sci-fi classics,” says Manlio Greco, designer of Drakkar Dev. The game will be released at a reduced price of 19.99 euros and will be localized in Spanish.
