Vivo’s new sub-brand continues to expand its mid-range and entry-level catalog with the launch of the new iQOO Z1X and iQOO U1. This last terminal will be the protagonist of this article and we can anticipate that it is an inexpensive device with a large screen, a fairly decent mid-range processor, a generous battery and a triple camera to complement the whole.
iQOO U1 : IQOO U1, a new competitor in the entry range
Counting on a 6.53-inch IPS LCD screen that covers 90.72 on the front, we must say that the iQOO U1 does not look bad at all and adheres very well to modern standards. This screen exhibits a Full HD + resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and consists of a perforated selfie camera in the upper left corner. It should be mentioned that there is no fingerprint reader on the screen or on the back, as it has been moved to the right side , which again aligns with current trends.
specs
In this vein, under its hood lies the Snapdragon 720G chip , whose eight-core CPU is backed by 6GB or 8GB of RAM along with 64GB or 128GB of internal UFS 2.1 storage. Also, the iQOO U1 is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 18-watt fast charging, not bad.
In terms of OS, we find the predominant Android 10 next to the company’s interface, iQOO UI , which is derived from the Vivo interface. The connectivity options border on the usual, it has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 and GPS.
Finally, in the photographic department we got a triple lineup on the back. It consists of a 48MP main sensor , a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth lens. For its part, the front camera is 8MP and has an f / 2.05 aperture.

The iQOO U1 is now available in China , where it is sold for the following prices:

- 6 + 128GB = 1,398 yuan (175 euros)
