Ember Lab, the studio behind the game, wants to make sure they deliver the best possible version of the title.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is one of the most anticipated indie titles on PlayStation, but that wait will be a bit longer than anticipated. This Wednesday, the Ember Lab studio announced the delay of the title, moving its release until September 21 of this year. Originally, Kena was due out in March , and then it was delayed until August .

The title will arrive on September 21 on PC, PS4 and PS5.“We have made the difficult decision to delay Kena until September 21 to polish the game on all its platforms,” Ember Lab mentioned on social media. “The team has been working extremely hard, and we feel that the extra time is critical to ensuring the best possible experience.”

Ember Lab knows that many players are eager to try the title, and appreciates people’s patience as they take it upon themselves to deliver the best possible version of the game.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is coming to PC , PS4, and PS5 . The title will take advantage of the functions of the DualSense controller , applying different resistances in the triggers for light and heavy attacks and using haptic vibration in areas with a lot of action. Click here if you want to know more about these features on PS5, as well as some details in history and graphics that Ember Lab shared.
