Meizu has just released a noticeably improved version of its 16 series, the Meizu 16Xs , a device that comes with better in the camera, battery and software department. In terms of design, it has not changed much compared to the Meizu 16, it does not incorporate notch or perforation in the screen, maintaining the presence of a thin frame both on the top and on the sides. The Meizu 16Xs leaves the Snapdragon 710 chip from the previous version for the new Snapdragon 675 , but repeats in the memory section, conserving 6GB of RAM along with 64GB or 128GB of internal storage . On the other hand, the battery itself has received a substantial improvement, going to have a 4,000mAh unit provided with mCharge fast charging, which is usable through the USB type C port of the device.
The operating system this time is Android 9 Pie along with Meizu’s Flyme 7 OS interface .
Perhaps the main attraction of the Meizu 16Xs is its renewed triple camera. This is made up of a 48MP Samsung GM1 main sensor with f / 1.7 aperture, which is backed by a 5MP secondary sensor with f / 1.9 aperture and by a tertiary 8MP sensor (f / 2.2 aperture). Finally, the front camera boasts a 16MP sensor with f / 2.2 aperture.
Availability and price of the Meizu 16Xs
The Meizu 16Xs has just been released in China in two memory versions. The first offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM, selling for a price of 1,698 yuan, the equivalent of 221 euros . The version 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM has a price of 1998 yuan, that is, almost 260 euros to change.
However, there is still no information on its launch in other markets, so we will have to wait for an announcement from the company.
