Today we want to prepare a beautiful flower box for Mother’s Day. MOTHER’S DAY CRAFT: BOX WITH FLOWER

What do we need?

– Cardboard boxes in the shape of a heart
– Glitter in relief 
– Ready gouache
– Cracking effect
– Decoupage glue-lacquer
– brush, pencil

How you do it?

•  We mix the red and white gouache to obtain a light pink.
• We spread two coats of this color on the outer surface of the lid.
• Let’s draw the flower (or a decoration to our liking) in pencil and paint it; let it dry.
• We spread a coat of glue-lacquer.
• With the glitter we color the leaves, the center and the contours of the flower; let it dry.
• We color the outside of the base of the box white; let it dry.
• Over the white color we spread the crackle (cracking effect) with the brush, to obtain the cracking effect, then let it dry.
• Let’s give some brushstrokes with dark pink (obtained by adding red tempera to the previously created color).
• Once the cracking effect has been obtained, apply a coat of glue-lacquer.
• The box is ready to contain the most precious jewels!
