MOTHER’S DAY CRAFT: DIY NOTEPAD
Mother’s Day is close at hand, which this year will fall on May 13th. We all know how much the life of us mothers is full of commitments, with a thousand things to do and the limited time available, so why not create a blackboard with a notepad to help us juggle the long days? MOTHER’S DAY CRAFT: DIY NOTEPAD
On the occasion of the anniversary dedicated to Mom, I made a very simple job with my almost-four-year-old child, using only easily available materials. Alessandro had a lot of fun cutting and gluing (often even where he shouldn’t have ^ – ^)
Let’s see what we need: MOTHER’S DAY CRAFT
– recycled cardboard
– 1 sheet of copy paper color to
– sheets of lenci cloth
– colored wooden clothespins
– vinavil glue
– adhesive tape
– colored waxed cords
– White papers
– scissors / pen or pencil
First we cut a cardboard rectangle of about 20 × 15 cm. and line it with a colored sheet of paper.
We glue three colored wooden clothespins about 5 cm. from the upper edge aligning them horizontally, as shown in the photo.
Now let’s create the doll’s face: we make a pattern of a circle of about 4 cm on a sheet of white paper. in diameter, which we will use to cut out a pink circle and a brown circle on the lenci cloth.
To help us compose the hairstyle, overlap the brown circle on the pink circle and cut it out leaving the face uncovered, add clips, clips, pigtails and a collar as desired to make it more sympathetic. Finally, we assemble all the pieces by gluing them with Vinavil glue. Finally, let’s draw the two little eyes and the face will be completed.
On the lenci red cloth, cut out three hearts and hang them on the bulletin board with the waxed cords, which we will also use to form the hook with which to hang the slate. To attach the lanyards, simply use simple adhesive tape on the back.
By hanging the blank sheets of paper on clothespins, we can use this chore for our reminders or simply to write lots of messages for our baby!
