We have just learned about a new model that is added to the Motorola G60 series, called simply Moto G60S, which is presented with very competitive specifications within the upper-middle range. The Motorola Moto G60S boasts a 120Hz refresh rate screen and 50W fast charge, all for a price of 367 euros, in theory.
This is the Moto G60S : Motorola Moto G60S, mid-range with much to show off
The Motorola Moto G60S is presented as an affordable version of the Moto G60, so it is natural to expect cuts, starting with the material used for its construction. This time we are talking about a change from metal to plastic, so it is understandable if some lose interest in the G60S, since it implies a decrease in build quality.
Leaving that aside, the Motorola Moto G60S boasts a 6.8-inch LCD screen , which gives us a FullHD + resolution and also a refresh rate of 120Hz for the most gamers, although of course, this also improves the general fluidity of the screen. As can be seen in the images, it is a screen with perforation for the selfie camera; that it is a 16MP sensor.
That said, the layout of the items hasn’t changed since the original version; the fingerprint reader that proudly bears the Motorola logo is where it should be and the same can be said for the photographic module; although only in appearances, since there are changes in the sensors used.
Inside we are also waiting for changes that we must discuss, starting with the MediaTek Helio G95 chip (instead of the Snapdragon 732G), which is accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Another interesting fact about it is its 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charge support . However, this represents a 1,000mAh decrease compared to the original Moto G60.
On a photographic level, cuts are also awaiting. This time we talk about a quad camera headed by a 64MP main sensor and backed by 8MP (wide angle), 5MP (macro) and 2MP (depth) sensors.
Availability and price
At the moment the Motorola Moto G60S is only official in Brazil, where it is sold for a price of 2,249 reais (about 367 euros at today’s rate) . If your arrival in Spain or other markets is confirmed, it is most likely that we will have to inform you, but until then we can only wait.
