Samsung continues to expand the Galaxy A series in 2019, this time with the launch of an entry-level mobile, which is planned to reach the US market shortly with an affordable price. This terminal is called Samsung Galaxy A10e , and as its name indicates, it is based on the Samsung Galaxy A10 except for some small details in which we will investigate below.
The announcement of the terminal has been very discreet and , in fact, the company has not shown official images of the device, so we will be using those of the Galaxy A10 as a reference.

First of all, the Samsung Galaxy A10e sports a 5.83-inch screen with HD + resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels and a V-shaped notch (Infinity-V). This represents a considerable reduction in screen size, which reaches 6.2 inches in the reference model (A10).
The design remains intact and also the plastic material used for its construction, but with the obvious exceptions of size and weight.
Features and specs
In terms of hardware, there have been a couple of changes, but the Exynos 7884 eight-core chip is maintained along with the 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage of the original model. The latter can be expanded via Micro SD up to a maximum of 512GB.
However, the battery is reduced from 3,400mAh to 3,000mAh, but it should not affect the autonomy of the terminal much since the reduction of the screen should compensate a little for the energy consumption. Lastly, the main camera sees its 13MP sensor replaced by an 8MP one on the Samsung Galaxy A10e . The 5MP selfie camera has not undergone any changes.
Among other outstanding features of the device we can mention: Android 9.0 Pie operating system, 4G LTE connectivity, dual-band Wi- Fi, Bluetooth 5 and Samsung’s custom interface.
Availability and price of the Samsung Galaxy A10e
The Samsung Galaxy A10e comes with a price of $ 179.99 to the US market , the equivalent of 160 euros, but Samsung has not yet confirmed if it will reach other markets or if it is an exclusive model for North America, only time will tell, or a official announcement of the company in any case.
