New Skullgirls 2nd Encore Trailer Shows Umbrella – Her Alpha Test Coming To Steam This Month
Umbrella is the second character from the first season pass, which will have a total of four fighters.
It took more than a decade for Skullgirls to participate as an official game in EVO , the largest fighting game tournament in the world. This year, Hidden Variable and Future Club , the studios in charge of this fighting title, presented the trailer for Umbrella , the next fighter from the Skullgirls 2nd Encore battle pass .
The official launch of Umbrella will be at the end of 2021.Being the little sister of Parasoul (another girl already present in the game), Umbrella also fights using an umbrella, but she possesses several original movements, resulting in a combat style, which does not imitate any of the other Skullgirls fighters.
Umbrella’s umbrella is called Hungern , and as its English name suggests, it only seeks to devour the enemy. This is attempted by assuming various forms, growing and shrinking to different sizes, and attacking the opponent from the other end of the stage.
Umbrella will have an alpha period on PC this month, before its official launch later this year on Steam and PS4. During this test, players will be able to get a preview of the character, which the developers will use to their advantage, to polish gameplay issues with time to spare.
Umbrella is the second character within the Skullgirls 2nd Encore Season Pass . This pass includes 4 new characters , a color palette pack, the game’s soundtrack in digital format, and an art compendium that is updated with the departure of each new combatant.
