Several months after the presentation of the Oppo Reno4 series , the Asian company has decided to unveil a new member for this family, it is the Oppo Reno4 SE 5G, which curiously does not renounce 5G connectivity or fast charging that characterizes its brothers, which makes it a very round mid-range proposal in 2020. Without further ado, it’s time to meet him.
Oppo Reno4 SE 5G : Oppo Reno4 SE 5G: lite version, but with 5G and fast charging
Although the terminal retains the design language of its brothers (and of mid-range mobiles in 2020 in general), this time we are dealing with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD + resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels ) and a standard refresh rate (60Hz). However, it retains the hole for the selfie camera, the in-display fingerprint reader, and has a 180Hz touch response.
Under the hood we find nothing more nor less than the Dimensity 720 chip , the most affordable SoC with 5G in the current market, which represents a change of equipment compared to its older brothers, who carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. Going back to the main topic, the processor is paired with 8GB of RAM alongside 128GB / 256GB of internal storage.
Likewise, it is powered by a 4,300mAh battery that impressively supports 65W fast charging , which is commendable in this price range.
At the operating system level, obviously we can expect Android next to the interface of the moment, which in this case is Color OS 7.1. In terms of wireless connectivity the Oppo Reno4 SE 5G has it all, such as 5G NSA / SA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 and NFC for electronic contactless payments.

The Oppo Reno4 SE 5G inherits the triple photo setup from the standard Oppo Reno 4, but with a slight difference. Going into the matter, the device consists of a 48MP main sensor with f / 1.7 aperture , accompanied by an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor instead of a monochrome sensor, otherwise than the standard model. For its part, the selfies will be taken with a 32MP camera that outlines an aperture f / 2.4.
It is worth mentioning that the main set is equipped with electronic image stabilization and video recording in 1080p @ 120fps.
Availability and price
While waiting for an international launch , all we can say for now is that the Oppo Reno4 SE 5G will cost 2,499 yuan in its homeland, about 311 euros to change , this for the 128GB version of ROM, since the variant with 256GB it costs 2,799 yuan, which is 348 euros in exchange.
