Photography: how to choose a photographic lens
As we have said, choosing a camera is the basis for practicing photography, which makes it easier to take pictures as a beginner. However, you will quickly progress and accessories will become essential to keep improving.
Among them, the photographic lens allows you to adapt your gaze and your control over the subject you want to photograph and stage. Macro lens, wide angle, telephoto … Everything is possible if you want to practice photography more thoroughly.
Therefore, you must take into account your wishes, your needs and, of course, your budget, depending on the uses you want to give it. Choosing the photographic objective turns out to be a more difficult question than it seems.
Among the basic criteria that must be taken into account so as not to get lost among all the objectives, are:
- The focal: it can be a fixed focal lens or a zoom lens,
- The field angle,
- The aperture, that is, the maximum amount of light captured by the same lens,
- The minimum focus distance.
Keep in mind that each brand has its own lenses , and that opting for a lens from a different brand of your camera can pose some small (big) adaptability issues for your camera. However, two companies offer a series of photographic lenses on the market almost as large as the number of existing cameras. These two companies are Japanese and are called Sigma and Tamron , bravo for them!
However, getting advice is the best technique to know how to choose your photographic objective and adapt it to the uses you want to give it.
Apart from this indispensable and popular tool, there are obviously many other photography accessories, which can be even more useful.
