Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water relaunch leaves us without Samus and Zelda costumes
The port of the Japanese horror title will arrive this year with some news, but also with absences.
The Project Zero saga , although it has not been as famous as Resident Evil or Silent Hill , has a good number of fans for offering a proposal more geared towards classic Japanese horror . The franchise has had five installments since its launch on PlayStation 2 , all released in the West except for the fourth, Mask of the Lunar Eclipse , which remained in Japan .
Although the producer of the series, Keisuke Kimuchi , “would love” to make more games in the franchise , the title we are looking forward to at the moment is the Wii U port , Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water . The port promises to slightly improve the visual aspect of the Wii U version and will include some new features, such as different outfits for its protagonists.
Fans expected to have them on the Nintendo Switch versionIn Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water we were able to customize its protagonists with different pieces of clothing and on the occasion of its launch at the then Nintendo desktop , several iconic aspects of beloved Nintendo franchises were included: there was Samus’s “zero suit” , from the Metroid saga and also included the dress of Princess Zelda , from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess .
When it comes to Nintendo franchises , it was evident that the PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC versions would not feature these outfits, but fans were hoping to have them in the Nintendo Switch version , however Koei Tecmo has confirmed through its website that the set of outfits had changed, disappearing those related to Nintendo and including some new ones as compensation.
The relaunch of Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water will arrive on Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC on October 28 of this year.
