At the beginning of April, the South Korean manufacturer presented the Galaxy A21, a mid-range mobile with a large battery and a quad camera, which was the successor to the popular Galaxy A20. Just a month later, the brand surprises us with a renewal of the same terminal, called Samsung Galaxy A21s , which considerably improves the autonomy, camera and performance of the terminal, making use of the new Exynos 850 chip that has yet to be officially presented by the company, but that has already been observed in the Geekbench database .

In terms of design the new Samsung Galaxy A21s not far from its original version, maintaining the same display and distribution of elements, except for the part back, where we find changes in the position of the cameras and LED flash.
In case you are not familiar with the Galaxy A21, it mounts a 6.5-inch LCD screen with perforation in the upper left corner and has HD + resolution, although the latter is a bit higher in the new Galaxy A21s, reaching 1,600 x 720 pixels (20: 9 aspect ratio). In summary, we are facing a typical Infinity-O screen that Samsung usually uses in terminals of all ranges.
Hardware and Features
Under the hood the Samsung Galaxy A21s reserves several improvements, starting with the new Exynos 850 chip , which is equivalent in performance to a Snapdragon 450. Also, Samsung has added variants of 3GB, 4GB and 6GB of RAM to this new version of the device, being paired with 32GB / 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB via Micro-SD).
The battery of the Galaxy A21s also gets a boost compared to its brother. It contains a 5,000 mAh unit that supports 15 watt fast charging that is sure to last longer than the Galaxy A21, which has a 4,000 mAh battery.
In terms of software, the terminal works with the One UI user interface based on Android 10. Moving on to the field of connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy A21s surprises us with NFC in such an affordable terminal, but it also consists of all the essentials, such as 4G LTE, GPS, Wi- Fi and Bluetooth.

Also, the main configuration of the quad camera is updated. There is a 48MP primary sensor in place of the 16MP lens found on the A21. The other three camera sensors remain the same, including an 8MP ultra-wide sensor , a 2MP depth camera, and another 2MP macro camera . A physical fingerprint sensor also rests in the center of the rear panel just like the Galaxy A21.
The front camera remains unchanged, it retains the 13MP sensor compatible with facial recognition that we saw in the original model.

Samsung has yet to announce the price of the Galaxy A21s, but rumors suggest it will cost from € 199 onwards. The terminal should go on sale on June 19, according to the company.
