Hardware and cameras

The chip that drives the experience is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus , which adds 5G network connectivity to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. Accompanying its processor are up to 12GB of RAM along with 512GB of internal storage type UFS 3.1. Samsung hasn’t revealed all the specs, but two 4,500mAh batteries with 15-watt fast and wireless charging are listed.

The operating system will obviously be Android 10 along with One UI, Samsung’s interface.

Details of the triple rear camera are not confirmed yet, but the last we hear in leaks involves 64MP + 12MP + 12MP sensors, but don’t quote us on that as no one is sure yet. The same goes for selfie cameras, which could be 10MP.

The company has also not confirmed its launch date or price, but the pre-sale will start on September 1 and is rumored to cost around 2,000 euros.
