Sony has announced the launch of a terminal that has little or nothing to do with the recent Xperia 1 and its other flagships of 2019. We refer of course to the Sony Xperia Ace , a mobile that is characterized by its compact size of 5 inches in a market where the majority of new terminals are not lowered below 6 inches. This device represents a regression to a simpler era, and will be launching only in the country of the rising sun under the operator Docomo .

The Sony Xperia Ace sports a 5-inch LCD screen with an 18: 9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, so it can be said that it is at the height of modern smartphones despite its small size. Going into details, it has a height of only 140 millimeters and a width of 67mm. However, it is a bit thick, reaching 9.3 millimeters. In terms of performance, the Sony Xperia Ace is positioned right in the mid-range, being powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chip , which is complemented by 4GB of RAM and some 64GB of internal storage (expandable).
The terminal is powered by a 2700mAh battery that should be enough for its small screen. Moreover, the device runs Android 9 Pie with Sony’s custom interface and offers NFC connectivity .

The Sony Xperia Ace arrives in Japan with a price tag of 48,600 yen, the equivalent of 395 euros . Its official sale begins in June, but you can already pre-buy, of course, if you live in Japan, since there is no indication that it will have a global launch.
