System Shock Remake returns with 7 minutes of gameplay: fighting SHODAN is more beautiful than ever
The Nightdive game has a demo and is expected to arrive on PC in the next few months.
After a few months of silence, Nightdive Studios returns with a new video for System Shock – Remake that they title as a “teaser trailer”, but don’t let that confuse you: it is a volume and spine gameplay with a seven minute exploration of the spaceship. where you can see combat, puzzle solving, inventory management and more.
Newcomers will have the opportunity to marvel at the dismemberment system that organic and mechanical enemies have (watch out for the robot that appears at the end) as well as the curious sense of aesthetics for which those responsible are betting, emulating the sensations of the original game but with modern three-dimensional media.
Remember that, although it is always interesting to see more playable material, in fact at the end of February the demo of the System Shock remake was released in various PC digital stores, so if these minutes of gameplay are not enough for you, too you can test it on your own even if it is in a contained environment.
The game should be ready before September , following the latest indications from the development team. In System Shock, the player plays a hacker who awakens on the Citadel Station space station , now subjected to the will of one of the most memorable villains in video games: the artificial intelligence SHODAN. It is also one of the forerunners of Dishonored, BioShock, and other immersive sims.
