Can you face the horrors of your mind after surviving the Great War?

Yesterday’s Nacon Connect event was full of news about the well-known games of this publisher, but there was also room to make the occasional unexpected announcement. Nacon and Hekate announce Ad Infinitum , a horror game that was actually announced and paused a few years ago, but now reborn with this presentation trailer that takes us into their proposal. Yes, it is a psychological horror title set in World War I. , and that promises not to give its players a break.

“The war may be over, but for you, the nightmare does not end, ” reads the game’s official synopsis. “Can you say the fight is really over if they have left you fighting for your sanity? Will you live long enough to see another night?” In Ad Infinitum we play a German soldier who returns home after the end of the Great War, but that does not mean that his suffering is over.

The trauma lived in the trenches continues to lurk, and each night he faces hallucinations with horrendous creatures , deadly traps and mysteries that mark the path to recovery. It will be in our hands to overcome them to regain sanity , although perhaps our efforts give rise to other terrors much more fearsome from which there is no escape.

Ad Infinitum will be available in 2023 for PC (Steam) and consoles. Nacon has not specified the consoles on which the game will be available. This has not been the only novelty of this week’s Nacon Connect, which also gave us the announcement of a new RoboCop game , as well as the first Steelrising gameplay , the newest from the creators of GreedFall. And, as if that were not enough, we already have the launch date of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown , the open world driving proposal that will take us to the island of Hong Kong.
