The game has broken user records on Steam and there is even a waiting list to play.

The Final Fantasy XIV fever is real and the Square Enix MMO is experiencing its best moments in more than a decade since its original release. The data speaks for itself and after surpassing WoW as the game of the genre with the most active users after several years, and after it broke the record for players on Steam , the good news does not end.

There are waiting lists to play and get a copy of the gameFrom the FinalWeapon portal , specialized in the game, they point out that even the digital copies available for PC in the Square Enix Store have been sold out . If you thought that digital games were infinite, the MMO proves that they are not. And the Japanese publisher has practically no time to replenish more sales codes, since users run out of it right away.

So much so that there are even waiting lists to access the game servers . This is common when new content is included or an update is released. But the funny thing is that there is absolutely no content of that caliber in FF 14 and the players keep coming in waves.

Experts in the genre point to the aforementioned decline in interest in World of Warcraft and in the interest that Endwalker, the next expansion of Final Fantasy 14 , has aroused as the main reasons for more and more players to bet on the Square MMO, living its best moment since 2010.
