The Friends of Ringo creator Ishikawa returns with action, crime and yakuza: this is Fading Afternoon

If you grew up with the Yakuza saga and like the franchise’s setting, Fading Afternoon could be an interesting alternative. This is the new title from developer Yeo , creator of the games Arrest of a Stone Buddha and The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa .
Fading Afternoon is coming to PC in 2022.The Fading Afternoon puts us in the shoes of Seiji Maruyama , a middle-aged man, who recently got out of prison. He is a member of the yakuza , known as “Gozuki”, but who tries to break the bad habits that put him behind bars. This is when the player comes into action. Depending on our actions , we will decide Seiji’s fate.
The title will have different endings and, as it belongs to the beat ’em up genre , it will also have a lot of action. We can also participate in some mini-games scattered throughout history, in addition to having several cities waiting to be explored.
As with previous Yeo games, Fading Afternoon will feature strong themes and will not be suitable for young audiences. According to the official page on Steam , the title will have scenes with graphic violence , in addition to alcohol and cigarette abuse .
The game does not have an exact release date yet, but its arrival on PC is expected sometime in 2022 , and you can now add it to your wish list.
