It seemed logical, but in any case, nothing should ever be taken for granted. Xiaomi is going to continue betting on its own  customization layer  and has already officially announced the future arrival of  MIUI 12 . It has been through Weibo, the Chinese social network similar to Twitter, where we have been able to see a brief image with the logo of this new OS. Few data is available on it for now, but we are going to try to collect all the information that, at the moment, is already circulating on the network.

MIUI 12 will be Xiaomi’s new proprietary software with which the company equips its most cutting-edge launches. This new layer, of which its novelties and improved functions have not yet been confirmed, is expected to bring  a simpler design, a cleaner interface and a greater prominence of the dark mode. 

The dark mode is highly praised by users, who appreciate that it is natively integrated into the settings of the serial operating system of their mobile devices, as it helps to improve the autonomy of the terminals. Regarding the interface, Xiaomi is gradually making a “cleaner” layer, with fewer distractions and easier to use by all kinds of user profiles.

When will MIUI 12 appear

For now, the arrival date of MIUI 12 has not been made official, although  it is expected for Q4 2020 , coinciding with the end of the year that we have just released and  based on Android 11 , which will begin to reach the first models between late summer and early fall, if the usual schedule is met.

For now,  the batch of betas begins so it is more than likely that little by little some of its news will begin to be revealed and we can see the first  filtered screenshots  . We’ll be alert.
