Bandai Namco Registers One Piece Odyssey and 2 Trademarks Related to Boku no Hero Its Upcoming Games?

All 3 brands were registered just a few weeks ago, suggesting a possible announcement this year.

After an attempt to enter the open worlds with One Piece: World Seeker , it seems that Bandai Namco is not underestimating his efforts to offer an adventure worthy of the travels of Luffy and company . Or, at least, the latest moves by the company suggest. In Gematsu they share that Bandai Namco has registered three new brands , very possibly related to their next games in development. And one of them has attracted special attention: One Piece Odyssey .

Registered in Japan on June 17 by Shueisha (Shonen Jump) and Bandai Namco Entertainment, the One Piece Odyssey brand was not released until today , July 6. And, for now, it remains shrouded in mystery. The only details about the project that your registration offers are the name and a first logo of One Piece Odyssey that we offer you below. However, its nickname “Odyssey”, and its registration by Bandai Namco’s video game division, have made fans dream of it being a new open world game for the series.

Of course, that is nothing more than speculation at the moment. Along with One Piece Odyssey, Bandai Namco has also registered the MHUI and MHUR brands in Europe, the listings of which have been withdrawn at the time of writing. The aforementioned media assures that they would be related to My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia).

Not surprisingly, the latest games in the saga have simply used “My Hero” as the main name in the West, as is the case with the last My Hero One’s Justice 2 , so it would fit with the acronyms of these brands. We will keep up with Bandai Namco’s movements around their most popular anime licenses , with the possibility of an announcement in the coming months. Meanwhile, we leave you with the analysis of One Piece: World
