Huawei renews the P Smart series with the confirmed launch of the Huawei P Smart 2021, a terminal that, although it loses the right to have Google apps and services, makes customers a generous offer in terms of quality-price, performance and photography.

The design has been modernized compared to its predecessor, which was a refresh of the 2019 model designed to preserve Google services. This time we have a rectangular module for the cameras and a side fingerprint reader.
The screen outlines a 6.67-inch panel with Full HD + resolution and perforation that houses an 8MP front camera with f / 2.0 aperture. Additionally, adjustments have been incorporated to reduce the effect of blue light certified by TÜV Rheinland .

In terms of hardware, the Kirin 710A SoC repeats and is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB via MicroSD). What has changed is the battery, which rises to its capacity to 5,000mAh and can boast of 22.5W Huawei SuperCharge fast charge , which promises to restore 100% of the charge in 1.6 hours.
At the operating system level, the Huawei P Smart 2021 runs Android with the EMUI 10.1 layer on top, but as mentioned at the beginning, there are no Google services or apps, instead we will have to settle for the AppGallery and the Huawei Mobile Services .
The Huawei P Smart 2021 is equipped with a quad rear camera. Going into details, the main sensor is 48MP (f / 1.8), the secondary one is an 8MP wide-angle lens with a 120 ° field of view and the remaining two are 2MP (frame and depth camera, both with aperture f / 2.4).
The terminal also stands out in the field of night photography due to its performance, high sensitivity and the ability of its AI to achieve noise reduction in multiple frames.
Availability and price
The Huawei P Smart 2021 will hit the market in November in three colors (green, gold and black) for a price of 229 euros and will be sold through Huawei’s official website , but the company has yet to confirm certain details of availability in certain countries, like Spain.
