The third module would be an 8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and, finally, it would have a time-of-flight sensor to perceive depth of field.
Taking into account the source’s hit history, as well as the evolution of Huawei’s flagships, this setup seems doable.
Likewise, another source suggests that the Huawei Mate 30 Pro camera will have “SuperSensing” technology , a feature that debuted in the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro terminals, which allows 40% more light to be captured to produce clearer and more detailed images. The latter is possible thanks to the ISP (Image Signal Processor) of the Kirin 980 chip.
Finally, a Huawei patent emerged at the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office), revealing that the device would feature an AirGlass protective cover instead of the typical Gorilla Glass . The description does not specify in what way it would be superior to the previous one mentioned, we only know that it is listed in Class 9, which includes protective films for smartphones.
Speculation aside, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro is expected to be unveiled in late September or October, while the 5G model could be released in December.
