How to review the Russian alphabet?
To make sure you pronounce Russian words correctly, you will have to use the soft symbol ь and the hard symbol ъ , not vocalized, which indicate that the preceding consonant is palatalized or not, respectively.
We advise you to review the Russian alphabet in the following order :
- Latin letters
- Greek letters
- Russian letters
In this way, the difficulty will be gradual: for Latin letters , the important thing will be not to confuse the pronunciation of Spanish with that of Russian. Students who have studied Greek can easily assimilate Greek letters . The Russian letters are the biggest problem, because you have to familiarize yourself with a new writing system.
The ideal is to review the alphabet daily : it will be very easy to master it in just a few weeks.
Our last advice is that it will be preferable to practice on physical media rather than on the computer in order to acquire good handwriting and be able to work on motor memory .
Learning Russian will allow you to visit Russia without language barriers, either with the help of a Russian teacher or self-taught.
