Why go to PLIDA?
Listening to the radio in Italian during a trip to Italy will immerse you in the cultural reality of the country.
The PLIDA, “Progetto Linguia Italiana Dante Alighieri”, translates into Spanish as “Italian Language Project Dante Alighieri”, it takes up the same principles as the CILS certification (segmentation of the certificate into 6 different levels).
This certification is issued by the Dante Alighieri society and is recognized by the highest Italian authorities (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Education, University and Research). Obtaining the PLIDA is, of course, a plus on a resume.
The areas of competence that are examined are globally the same, together with the ability to communicate, understand more or less precisely according to the level the elements of a conversation, restore in writing the understanding of a note or a text. In 4 words, listening, reading, speaking and writing with a degree of demand more or less high depending on the level chosen.
PLIDA is also divided into:
The PLIDA Juniors , aimed at adolescents between 13 and 18 years old and which takes up a methodology and a universe known to this population (adapted pedagogy, for example) with levels ranging from A1 to C1,
Also the PLIDA Commercial that is aimed at a professional audience (banking, industry …) that has 3 levels: B1, B2 and C1.
You can practice and prepare the PLIDA thanks to the Dante Alighieri school through private lessons, afternoon classes or more specific Italian courses , intensive or not.
To take the exam, it can be done in Spain in Madrid or Barcelona , there are exams more or less every month. You must contact the Dante Alighieri society to find out the exact dates of the exams. Rates range from € 65 (A1) to € 135 for level C2. Why go to PLIDA?
