How to learn ELE at university?

The university is the way par excellence for learning Spanish.
At present, there is no official accreditation that allows to be appointed as a teacher of Spanish as a second language or as a foreign language, although the Instituto Cervantes is doing everything it can to offer a title of teacher of Spanish.
The only specialization to become a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language is through a university formula: carry out higher studies as a degree and later complement it with a master’s degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Specifically, we are talking about:
Degree in Hispanic Philology.
Master in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
When opting for the teaching master’s degree, the Cervantes Institute collaborates with two state-wide public universities to offer two official master’s degrees in teaching Spanish:
University Master’s Degree in Teaching of ELE with the Menéndez Pelayo International University, with face-to-face and online modality.
University master’s degree in training teachers of Spanish as a second language in collaboration with the National University of Distance Education , with online modality.

However, the best way to become an ELE teacher is to have a theoretical specialization and put it into practice as soon as possible.
