English language certificates
In addition to the three giants that we have just mentioned, there are many other certificates to demonstrate your level of English depending on your situation.
The ETS has developed simpler tests than TOEFL and TOEIC to meet the needs of everyone. There is for example the TOEIC Bridge , for high school students (or for people with a basic and intermediate level) and the TOEFL Junior for the little ones.
You will have to study hard to pass your English exams.
The University of Cambridge, a renowned institution in the UK, is another major certificate provider.
The KET ( Key English Test ) grants level A2, while with the PET ( Preliminary English Test ) and the FCE ( First Certificate in English ) you will achieve, respectively, the following levels: B1 and B2. Finally, those with a higher level can achieve level C1 by doing the CAE ( Certificate in Advanced English ) or C2 (the maximum level) by doing the CPE ( Certificate of Proficiency in English ).
Leaving aside academic certificates, Cambridge certificates are also recognized in the professional field: the multilingual BULATS ( Business Language Testing Service ) is taken into account in companies in many countries to select their staff. It is ideal to certify your level in French, German, Spanish and English!
The British Council is not far behind with its famous IELTS ( International English Language Testing System ), which seduces almost three million candidates every year. British countries often require it in immigration. Depending on the result, you will get an equivalence on the CEFR scale. English language certificates
