The best applications to learn Spanish for free
Do you prefer to use your free moments (such as transportation time) to learn? In that case, the apps are ideal for you.
There are a large number of applications that allow users to learn the language of Cervantes for free. To make things easier for you, Superprof makes a small selection of some of the most effective applications for learning Spanish, both for Spaniards who want to improve their command of the language, and for foreigners.
- Duolingo,
- Babbel,
- FluentU
- Rosetta stone
That’s all?
Perhaps these are the best known, but if we included them all, our list would be endless. The best thing you can do is try the ones you see until you find the one that suits you best. Everyone learns in one way, so there is no one-size-fits-all app.
ATTENTION: You must bear in mind that the applications alone will not help you to become bilingual. Don’t think that apps are miraculous tools. You can learn a basic vocabulary, understand the basics of the grammar of the language and you can achieve an intelligible pronunciation, but learning a language goes much further.
What do you have to do to learn with an app?
- Go to the Google Play Store.
- Download a free Spanish learning application, like one of the ones we mentioned above.
- Follow the lessons day by day (it is better to study every day for fifteen minutes than to binge for two hours each week).
- Listen, read and write. Say and repeat the words.
Learning Spanish online or through an app is a practical and interactive method. However, this language training process does not confer any personalized and professional follow-up on the student.
Does laziness beat you and you end up leaving the application aside? If you want to prevent that from happening, the best way to learn Spanish is to look for a face-to-face course with an association or specialized organization. The best applications to learn Spanish for free
