Word processing in Windows
Today, having knowledge of office automation is a key computer skill in the job market, regardless of the type of job. There are many versions of Microsoft Windows, of which the most popular are:
- Windows Vista,
- Windows XP Vista,
- Windows 7,
- Windows 8.1,
- Windows 10, the latest version.
The most efficient versions are Windows 7 and Windows 10 , due not only to the little storage required for pre-installed applications, but also because the process and RAM are more efficient. There are very few bugs in these versions.
The word processing in Windows is done mostly by the Office package. For your information, the main applications of the Office suite (and the most common) are:
- Microsoft Excel, to open a spreadsheet and do calculations,
- Microsoft PowerPoint, which allows you to create visual presentations with formatting,
- OneNote, a simpler version of Word for taking notes,
- Microsoft Publisher, to prepare documents for direct mailings.
