In the Baccalaureate of Humanities it is not compulsory to study mathematics, but that does not mean that they have disappeared completely. Some Literature students continue to learn new notions about functions or geometry by choosing mathematics as an elective . It is an excellent way to continue the learning of mathematics in a branch that does not favor this type of subjects. But what use can it be?
Some professions require both literary and mathematical skills. This may be the case for teachers or architects. Choosing the math option also gives you the opportunity to study science after high school.
