Drawings to do during Halloween
Why don’t you put the free printables or coloring books aside? Create your own Halloween coloring pages . You can color them yourself or give them to your kids to be entertained as they color them during All Saints Day. This way, you can go beyond the typical Frozen, Pokémon, Winx or Barbie coloring pages for children!
For Halloween, you can choose from many of the symbols that represent this holiday. Among others, you can make creative and terrifying drawings of the type:
- A terrifying pumpkin.
- A caravel.
- A skeleton.
- Scream’s face.
- A witch on her broom.
- A vampire.
- Any kind of monster.
- A scary clown.
- A zombie …
To get you started, here is a tutorial on how to draw a scary teddy bear:
- Start with the teddy bear’s eyes. For the right eye, draw an oblique line and then continue drawing another line underneath, a little shorter, joining with the other that you have already made at one point. On the other side, join the two lines with a curved line. The second eye will be smaller. Next to the drawn eye, draw a first curved line for the upper part of the eye (the eyelid) and then draw another curved line joining the two ends of that first line.
- Continue with the bear’s head. The lines will be straighter to draw a head that will have an octagonal shape. Do not forget to add some curly hairs in the part of the bangs drawing in zigzag.
- For a more terrifying look, add a scar on the forehead. Draw an oblique line and then draw perpendicular lines in different directions to make the scar seams. Now add the ears. They can be rounded, although in the video they choose to draw ears in the shape of devil horns.
- For the body of the bear, draw an oval coming out of the head. Add a new scar. Draw the arms, which will come out on both sides of the body, starting from the base of the head. Add the legs in a curved rectangle shape. A few more scars and you will only have to go over the lines with a black marker. Don’t erase the pencil lines until the marker is dry.
