Master in Smart Building

description: Master in Smart Building

The Master in Smart Building responds to the demand of professionals in the current market for professionals who master the different technologies that make up the facilities of an intelligent building. You will specialize in home automation, air conditioning, security systems and energy saving and efficiency in buildings.

The technical complexity of a smartbuilding and the need for its regulation, control and programming make it essential to know these facilities in order to provide the building with interior comfort parameters and minimize energy consumption.

course objectives: Master in Smart Building

  • Design and integrate the regulation and control systems of the facilities through home automation in a simple and standard way, increasing the reliability and performance of the facilities.
  • Design computer networks, knowing the network devices that exist and their main functions, following the entire process, from the planning and analysis to the assembly and start-up of the network.
  • Learn to identify physical security solutions, logical security, communications security, security in mobile environments and for people.
  • Know and learn the parameters and conditions of well-being of people in buildings such as homes, offices, cinemas, libraries, etc.
  • Know and learn the theoretical bases for the calculation and design of air conditioning installations.
  • Interpret the Technical Building Code in regard to more efficient systems and facilities.
  • Perform the calculation to know the energy demand of a building and obtain the calculation of the energy efficiency of a building.

San Jorge University degree: Master in Smart Building

Upon successful completion of the study of the contents and practice of this course, you will obtain a Master’s degree in Smartbuilding , issued by  Universidad San Jorge  (60 ECTS credits).

In addition, passing the tests (theoretical and practical, in our facilities in Zaragoza), you can obtain the official KNX Partner certificate , which certifies as a qualified professional for the realization of KNX home automation installations, programming and maintenance, along with many other advantages and later the  Official certificate of Advanced KNX Course .
